We are currently seeking volunteers to help in both HHM and CompuPlace, and to fill in occasionally at our recoetion desk.

In 2016, donations to ECCF provided 325 families of 700 people with $36,000 in financial assistance through Helping Hands Ministry (HHM), and 143 people with disabilities received computer learning services through its CompuPlace ministry. Our neighbors in need thank YOU for your donations.

Your donations also make a difference in people’s lives by helping to provide low-cost rental space to these:

  • Access2Independence Independent Living Center, 94 consuers in 6 months in 2017
  • Cedar Rapids Aquatics Booster Club and Storage with lessons & competitive swimming for 800+ swimmers per year
  • Green Square Meals (GSM) 10721 meals in 6 months in 2017
  • GSM Food Pantry 142 participants in 6 months in 2017
  • HarvestLife Christian Fellowship, with services here on Sundays
  • Inter-Religious Council of Linn County
  • NAACP Local Chapter #4013
  • Narcotics Anonymous Groups - over 100 individuals per year:
  • SERRV Store with high-quality, fair trade, hand-crafted Items for sale from all over the world
  • Torchlight for the Youth is a quiet youth rescue that uses our space for refuge occasionally

  • Four Oaks Affordable Housing Network’s PUSH CR Storage
  • St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Storage
